Remploy may be saved in Wales

David Cameron has said he will look at a proposal to devolve money for Remploy factories to Wales, but has warned they are being closed for sound reasons.

At Prime Minister’s Questions, Labour MP Ann Clwyd said:

“When the disability minister (Maria Miller) came to Wales last week she said it was for others to consider whether Remploy’s budget should be devolved to Wales.

Maybe enough pressure can be brought to bare on the government to enable local decision making in Wales.
