During a speech this afternoon at a Policy Exchange event, Employment Minister Chris Grayling criticised the EU and protesters to the Government backed work experience scheme who are preventing the creation of new jobs in the UK.
Mr Grayling called to put employment as an absolute priority within the European Union agenda. He stressed that any measures damaging employment, including employment regulations, should be withdraw. He emphasized that with growing competition from emerging economies European states have no other alternative.
According to Mr Grayling “The future is not about more and more regulation to provide more and more comfort and protection for our citizens. If we go down that route there will be no jobs for them to have.”
