Horatio Walker LLB (Hons) MBA was the Business Development Manager for Virgin Direct / Virgin Net, a Start-up within the Virgin Group to launch Virgin Unlimited.

Key Achievements : Negotiated and lead the development and pilot launch of an innovative discounted / cash-back credit card in strategic partnership with RBS. Lead commercial / business analysis and profitability modeling of diverse initiatives such as on-line car purchase with short-listed partner Emap.

FIRST-E UK THE INTERNET BANK
Horatio was Head of Product Strategy at first-e UK the Internet Bank where he was the lead deal-maker and contractual negotiator.
Key Achievements : achieved first “green field” launch of UK on-line current account. Fast-track sourcing / delivery of a range of e-solutions for Credit Card, Unsecured Loans, ISA, Car Insurance, Travel Insurance, Foreign Exchange and Energy Services. Life Assurance, Brokerage and Mortgage search service brought to pilot. Navigated complexities of EC directives and UK regulations on “pass-porting” into other member states

Horatio was on the Board of Directors of the ethical bank (c£50m) Kingdom Bank.
For 12 year Horatio worked with Birmingham Midshires, a leading UK Building Society, assets exceeding £8bn and 1m+ customer base (since merged with Halifax PLc). He held a number of roles including; Head of Customer Market Planning, Business Development Leader and Head of Investment Services.
Horatio has also held various business assignments with,

- BLJ Solicitors,
- London; Rochas Group of Companies.
Horatio was also Managing Director and owner of CBS Construction.
