Sir Gus O’Donnell, the Cabinet Secretary, has just announced the appointment of Martin Donnelly as the new Permanent Secretary of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS). Mr Donnelly is due to take up his new post on 21st October, 2010.
