ANNOUNCEMENT

TBG is interested in hearing from providers who even at this late stage have not finalised contracting arrangements for 2011/12 and would be interested in working with us.

We would like to hear from you if you are a provider with a direct 2010/11 Skills Funding Agency  contract for Apprenticeships that is under the Minimum Contract Level of £500K for 2011/12 .

TBG is a high quality Apprenticeship Provider and was graded as Good by Ofsted in May 2010. TBG has extensive experience of managing  sub-contractors through DWP Programmes such as Community Task Force, New Deal and YPLA programmes such as Foundation learning.  For example,  in Kent in February, 2009, Ofsted undertook a thematic survey looking at best practice in managing DWP subcontracting arrangements in New Deal and selected our Kent provision as a good example. The features of practice noted were “Highly effective partnership working, frequent and regular performance meetings, good MIS systems and very good support and development of subcontractor’s staff”.

TBG, established in 1986, is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Rehab Group, an Irish independent, not-for-profit organisation. Throughout its history TBG has focussed upon meeting the needs of disadvantaged people and has been contributing to the whole range of programmes designed to reduce worklessness.
