Payment model:
- Work placement start fee: up to £450
- Work placement completion fee: up to £450
- Job outcome fee (where claimant is employed and off benefits for 26 out of 30 weeks): up to £600
Two contracts in London,
- North London Jobcentre Plus district (approx 2,460 starts expected);
- South London Jobcentre Plus district (approx 3,960 starts expected).
Performance will be measured against a control group in East and West London Districts.
Unlike Future Jobs Fund there is no employer subsidy, so unless you can draw on other funds to offer a paid work placement, young people on this programme will be doing unpaid work experience. They will also be subject to conditionality and sanctions.
