ERSA response to reshuffle

Kirsty McHugh, Chief Executive of ERSA, the trade body for the welfare to work industry, congratulated Chris Grayling on his promotion to the Cabinet as Secretary for State for Justice and welcomed Mark Hoban to his new role as Employment Minister.

Kirsty McHugh said:

“Chris Grayling worked incredibly hard to get the Work Programme up and running in such a short time and his strong hand on the tiller was felt and appreciated across the employment industry. We are very much looking forward to building another close working relationship with Mark Hoban, as the new Employment Minister, at a time when the industry is pulling out all the stops to help the long term unemployed into work.  We all know the economic backdrop is challenging, but I’m confident that a strong partnership between government and industry will mean that we can deliver good support for jobseekers”.
